I am a third-year PhD student in the Joint Carnegie Mellon-University of Pittsburgh PhD Program in Computational Biology (CPCB) at Uttam Lab working on developing imaging based methods focused on elucidating the underlying mechanisms of tumor development. Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India.

As an undergraduate researcher at the MeDAL Lab, I worked on developing methods for nucleus classification generalized across multiple organs in collaboration with Tata Hospital in Mumbai, India. I was also a research intern at TU Braunschweig, contributing to a series of efforts to convert vehicles into spaces for unobtrusive health monitoring through sensors mounted inside.

My industry experience stems from interning at AWL Inc., significantly optimizing models deployed as a part of retail store AI camera solutions.

Besides work, I enjoy playing guitar, soccer, cooking, and practicing Muay Thai.
